Merchants install preview on the PDP and stop. The same widget — or a lighter variant — can support earlier and later stages if you do not duplicate the full upload flow everywhere.

Teaser: “Preview any sofa in your room — start from the product page.” Do not embed full upload on collection grids; mobile bandwidth and billing get messy.

Cart recovery

Email with the SKU image they previewed (if consented) plus dimensions. Remind them of delivery window — preview handled fit; logistics closes the sale.

Post-purchase

Preview is pre-purchase for most stores. Cross-sell “complete the room” emails can link to complementary SKUs with preview, but prioritize reducing returns on the original order first.
